Because this project needed an actor who could give a solid delivery, we had a casting call across the upstate as well as North Carolina and Georgia. We eventually discovered Atlanta actor David Schifter who did an amazing job.
The final trick we used to give the product video life was to use a two-take camera method that had a medium and close up of the actor. That gave us two looks to cut between.
Greenfield Industries asked us to produce a series of web-based product videos highlighting the characteristics of their tools.
Let's face it: these kinds of videos can be dull. But we breathed life into it by carefully designing a visually appealing set. Our lighting setup was complex. We wanted to highlight the machinery and props in the background as well as give the actor detailed lighting on his face that would give a rugged look.
